Book one started a little slow and was a little clumsy, but when it picked up it went careening to an explosive, cathartic, and exciting finish. Well, Book two begins on Book one's high note and builds from there. Rebecca Price is an amazing writer with volumes of compassion, understanding, and knowledge of the human condition, both its strengths and foibles. She produces gutsy, almost street smart Hannah Troyer, survivor against any odds, a 21 year old Amish newly wed who comes out top of the heap. Who would of thought the simple concept of a Whoopie pie contest would raise two school houses, set two Amish towns on their ears, bring in thousands to their marketplace, involve Hollywood, the mafia, an international Chef, TV camera crew...and work it all into an Amish novel. Extraordinary, fun, exciting, and moving. Three cheers and five stars! Brava Rebecca. Highly recommended.Product details

Lancaster Amish Betrayal The Lancaster Amish Juggler Book 3 edition by Rebecca Price Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Yep, I'm officially a fan of Rebecca Price. I started reading Ruth Price's books, Out of Darkness series, and was very impressed and happy. She tweeted about her sister-in-law Rebecca, and I found that she's a great writer, too. If you love Amish Christian romance fiction, you'll love this series, too.
The story, the characters, the plot -- all great. I was on the edge of my seat, and I loved every minute of it. It was a great Amish romance, and Hannah was put into a difficult position, torn between her desire to keep the family secret and the pressure of her community. With God's help, she gets through the situation and is strengthened. Good, wholesome read with some twists to keep you turning pages. And . . . the juggling was cute.
this is a great book. i just love reading the amish books and this was a very good book it didn't take long to finish it.
Great book
Good reading. TO short the story should have continued so we could find out what happened to all of Lancaster
I loved this story. My only problem is that it ended too soon. You need to write another book, Rebecca. You have a talent, definitely. Hope you write another one soon. Abram and Hannah are so real and they are just like most kids dealing with problems of adolescence. I am happy for Hannah, and Abram is just a wonderful character. Juggling is such a unique addition, and only Abram can do it. Hannah is so real, you can almost hear her thinking. Excellent reading for anybody looking for something different in Amish fiction, that also has that same loving, caring and nurturing that I love in Christian romance.
This was a great, easy-to-follow read, not in the least because Abram cracked me up with his juggling. I won't lie; I was a little skeptical going in, especially since the first book needed a bit of proofing, but the story is good and the typos cleaned up here. For example, this time it's "Whoopie," not "Whoopee," "pies" in book one. Glad to see that fixed.
That said, the plot and interactions really did it for me. It was nice to see the same characters again; I'm totally enjoying following their story. I definitely will continue reading what the Price sisters (I think they're related?) put out.
